This toolkit goes well beyond the erg. Rowing, running, erging, core and strength training - all of these elements comprise the foundation of a strong training program. They are also the cornerstones of the programs Lisa Schlenker uses to help athletes achieve their goals and reach their potential.
Lisa started rowing in her late twenties, has competed for nearly two decades, and now coaches serious athletes to achieve their potential. Lisa is a ten-time National Team member, a 2004 Olympian, a three-time world silver medalist, and the indoor world record holder. Lisa brings eighteen years of experience to her athletes. By drawing on her experience, Lisa provides you with the tools to achieve your desired results.
Lisa will first work to get to know your objectives and ambitions. She will then design a weekly training program which will move you toward those goals. Constant feedback from you, whether on the phone, through e-mail or through your personalized workout calendar help you achieve your goals.
The relationship between an athlete and a coach is unique. Before Lisa contracts with an athlete, she wants to understand your intentions, the time frames you have for meeting your goals, your history as an athlete, and what you think will be most beneficial about having a coach. Before becoming your coach, she wants to ensure that the relationship will be successful, for both you as an athlete and for her as a coach.
